Review of the EPOCH Trial (JC-03192024)

EPOCH (Evaluating TheraSphere in Patients with metastatic colorectal carcinoma Of the liver who have progressed on first-line Chemotherapy) is the first study to investigate the role of transarterial radioembolization with Yttrium-90 (TARE) when added to standard-of-care second-line chemotherapy for colorectal liver metastases.

Dr Riad SALEM presents the study and its results on delayed disease progression, and, with our experts panel, follow the discussion of subset analyses to better identify the ideal patients who could benefit most, as well as dosimetric considerations to optimize the risk-benefit profile of TARE exposure.
